How to Operate & Refill S.T. Dupont Megajet Lighter

Ignite Flame: Press the side trigger firmly inward to trigger the piezo ignition and unleash the broad 20 mm flat blue jet flame.

Purge Before Refilling: Turn the lighter upside down. Depress the base gas valve completely with a small tool to bleed out trapped air and residual pressure.

Refill Gas: Invert the official S.T. Dupont Black Gas Canister (REF 000430 / 900430) and press the nozzle vertically into the base valve for 3 to 5 seconds. Repeat once if needed.

Equalize: Wait 3 to 5 minutes at room temperature before lighting to allow the fuel temperature to stabilize.
