How to Operate & Refill S.T. Dupont Maxijet Lighter

Ignite Flame: Press the chrome side trigger button firmly inward. The top safety shutter opens automatically as the piezo ignition fires a powerful blue torch flame.

Purge Before Refilling: Turn the lighter upside down. Depress the base gas valve completely with a small screwdriver or purge tool to vent trapped air and pressure.

Refill Gas: Invert the official S.T. Dupont Black Gas Canister (REF 000430 / 900430) and press the nozzle vertically into the base valve for 3 to 5 seconds.

Equalize: Wait 3 to 5 minutes at room temperature before lighting to allow the fuel temperature and pressure to settle.
