How to Fill & Maintain Your S.T. Dupont Maxijet Lighter

Purge the Fuel Tank: Turn the lighter upside down. Set the base flame adjuster to minimum (-). Use a small tool to press the fill valve to release all trapped air and residual pressure completely.

Refill with S.T. Dupont Black Gas: Invert the S.T. Dupont Black Gas canister (REF 000430) vertically over the refill valve. Press the nozzle firmly into the valve for 3 to 5 seconds.

Stabilize: Wait 3 to 5 minutes before igniting to allow the gas temperature to equalize to room temperature.

Adjust Flame Height: Fine-tune the flame adjuster wheel on the base plate to achieve your desired single torch height.
