How to Operate & Refill Le Grand S.T. Dupont Lighter

Ignite Yellow Flame: Flick the side roller downward like a traditional flint lighter to ignite the classic soft yellow flame.

Switch to Torch Flame: Push the ignition roller upward while lit to instantly convert the soft flame into an intense blue torch jet flame.

Purge Before Refilling: Turn the lighter upside down. Depress the base fill valve completely with a small tool to vent trapped air and residual pressure.

Refill Gas: Screw or press the S.T. Dupont Red Gas Canister (REF 900435) into the base valve. Hold vertically for 5 seconds to fill. Wait 3–5 minutes before igniting to allow the gas to equalize.
